Saint Tropez, town of painters
Beloved of the jet set
Since the 1950s, Saint-Tropez also became famous outside the Var and the Côte d'Azur, when Sagan, Picasso, Prévert, etc came to settle here. In 1960, the town becomes one of the most important places of international Jet Set with the arrival of Brigitte Bardot. Today, this charming and colourful marina is still one of the most famous towns in the world. Still, behind the yachts and summer entertainment, Saint-Tropez hides a charming town centre that has always attracted painters, as can be seen at the Musée de l'Annonciade.
